Domestic freight in Croatia: from Zagreb to Dalmatia, Slavonia and Istria
We organise freight within Croatia, from a single pallet to a whole truck. In the last 12 months we ran more than 2,500 domestic shipments, and for 9 in 10 the unloading is booked for the day of loading or the next day.

Domestic freight in practice
Domestic freight is about a third of our business. Most goods are loaded in and around Zagreb and in northern Croatia, and delivered across the country: Zagreb, Slavonia, Dalmatia, Istria and Kvarner.
Almost half of our domestic trips have more than one loading or unloading point. If you deliver to several addresses, such as a few shops or building sites, we combine them into one trip.
We choose the vehicle to fit the shipment: from a van for an urgent small load to a 13.6 m curtainsider or a reefer.
What we organise in Croatia
The same dispatcher for one-off and regular shipments.
Full truck
A vehicle for your goods only, loaded and unloaded the same or the next day.
Groupage
A few pallets in a truck with other shipments on the same route.
Multi-drop trips
One loading and several delivery addresses, or the other way round, in one trip.
Regular runs
The same weekly or daily transport, for example from a plant to a distribution centre.
Temperature-controlled freight
Reefers for food and goods that need a controlled temperature.
Port haulage
The road leg to or from Rijeka or Koper before or after sea freight.
How a domestic shipment runs
On most domestic lanes we plan loading and unloading within one to two days.
Enquiry
Loading place, delivery addresses, goods, quantity and the day you need.
Quote
The dispatcher chooses the vehicle and carrier and sends the price and slot.
Loading
The truck arrives at the agreed time. For multiple drops we agree the order of stops.
Delivery
We confirm unloading at every address and send you the documents.

What affects the price of domestic freight
We do not publish a price list because the price depends on the shipment. These are the main factors:
- Lane and return load
- Distance, and whether the carrier has a load for the way back. Zagreb to Dalmatia is not the same as Zagreb to Slavonia.
- Vehicle
- Van, rigid truck, curtainsider or reefer, depending on the volume and type of goods.
- Number of addresses
- Each extra loading or delivery address lengthens the trip.
- Timing
- Same-day loading or a fixed delivery hour narrows the choice of carriers.
- Site conditions
- Dock, forklift, access to a city centre or the consignee's opening hours.
